Synopsis
Matt is your typical angst-ridden fourteen-year-old boy. It’s just his Mum, Jo, and little brother Artie in the house after their Dad died. Matt sets off when he learns of Jo’s plans to sell her deceased husband’s Datsun.
Director’s Bio
In 2007, Mark Albiston received recognition at the Cannes Film Festival for his short film Run. Albiston’s follow- up short The Six Dollar Fifty Man was a break-out hit on the festival circuit; winning the award for best international short at The Sundance Film Festival. He also won three awards at the 2009 Qantas Film and Television Awards – including Best Short at the 2010 Flickerfest festival, Australia. Albiston Premiered feature film Shopping at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film earned awards at Sundance, Berlinale and the NZ Film & TV Awards.
